Drug intelligence / Profile preview
colloidal oatmeal + bisabolol + panthenol + squalane is a topical combination product formulated as a lightweight, non-greasy oil-in-water cream. It is designed to manage sensitive, weakened, and compromised skin barriers, particularly in conditions such as eczema and chronic inflammatory skin disorders. The formulation leverages the skin-protective and anti-inflammatory properties of colloidal oatmeal, the soothing effects of bisabolol (a chamomile derivative), the barrier-repair and humectant properties of panthenol (provitamin B5), and the emollient lipid-replenishing benefits of squalane. Clinical data presented at the AAD 2026 meeting demonstrated that twice-daily application significantly reduces visible redness, dryness, and transepidermal water loss (TEWL) while improving skin texture, resilience, and overall quality within one to four weeks. The product is developed by Kenvue (formerly Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health).
