COM902 + COM701 is a combination of two investigational monoclonal antibodies developed by Compugen for cancer immunotherapy. Both are humanized IgG4 antibodies administered intravenously. - **COM701** targets Poliovirus receptor related immunoglobulin domain containing (PVRIG) (also known as CGEN-15029), an immune checkpoint protein in the B7/CD28 family, and acts as a first-in-class anti-PVRIG antibody to activate T cells[1][3][7]. - **COM902** targets T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT), another immune checkpoint receptor, and is designed as a best-in-class anti-TIGIT antibody with reduced Fc function[4][8]. The combination aims to block both PVRIG and TIGIT pathways—key regulators of the DNAM-1 axis—to enhance antitumor immune responses, particularly in tumors resistant to PD-1 inhibition. The regimen has shown preliminary antitumor activity and favorable safety in early-phase clinical trials for advanced solid tumors such as ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, and fallopian tube cancer[1][5][7]. Compugen is also exploring triple combinations with PD-1 inhibitors like pembrolizumab.
