It consists of a combination of live *Lactobacillus* bacterial strains, with candidates including *Lactobacillus crispatus* and *Lactobacillus gasseri*. The preparation is designed to restore a healthy, *Lactobacillus*-dominant vaginal microbiome and normalize vaginal pH in women experiencing dysbiosis. It is currently being evaluated in randomized clinical trials for childbearing-aged women with elevated vaginal pH and abnormal vaginal microbiota, administered via either oral or intravaginal routes.
