Overview

Compound Vitamin for Injection (3) is a parenteral multivitamin combination containing three essential water-soluble vitamins: thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2, as riboflavin sodium phosphate), and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Developed and manufactured by Shanxi Pude Pharmaceutical and other regional manufacturers in China, it is approved for the prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiencies resulting from inadequate dietary intake, malabsorption, wasting diseases, or increased physiological demand (such as during pregnancy or lactation). Thiamine acts as a coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism, riboflavin is crucial for cellular respiration and energy production, and ascorbic acid serves as a potent antioxidant and cofactor for collagen synthesis. The drug is administered intravenously after dilution in compatible infusion fluids.
