Conatumumab + ganitumab is a combination therapy consisting of two monoclonal antibodies with different mechanisms of action. Conatumumab is an agonistic monoclonal antibody that targets death receptor 5 (DR5), promoting apoptosis in cancer cells. Ganitumab is an antagonistic monoclonal antibody that targets the type 1 insulin-like growth factor receptor (IGF-1R), inhibiting cancer cell growth and survival pathways. This combination has been investigated for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other malignancies.
