Conditioned Medium Wharton's Jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells (CM-WJMSCs) is a cell-free biological therapy derived from the secretome of mesenchymal stem cells found in the Wharton's jelly of the human umbilical cord. This conditioned medium contains a complex mixture of paracrine factors, including growth factors, cytokines, and extracellular vesicles (exosomes), which facilitate tissue repair and regeneration. Developed by Yohanes Firmansyah, it is primarily being investigated for the treatment of chronic trophic ulcers, particularly those associated with leprosy that are resistant to conventional treatments. The therapy aims to promote wound healing by stimulating granulation tissue growth and reducing inflammation (edema and erythema) through intracutaneous administration.
