Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Conjugated estrogens + dydrogesterone is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) combination used to treat menopausal symptoms and prevent osteoporosis in women who still have a uterus. The conjugated estrogens component replaces estrogen that the body produces less of during menopause, helping to relieve symptoms like hot flashes and vaginal changes. Dydrogesterone is a synthetic progestogen that produces a secretory endometrium in an estrogen-primed uterus, providing protection against estrogen-induced increased risk of endometrial hyperplasia and/or carcinogenesis. This combination helps regulate the healthy growth and normal shedding of the uterus lining.
