This specific program was evaluated by Helsinki University Central Hospital in a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to assess the safety and efficacy of high-titre and low-titre convalescent plasma in hospitalized patients with acute COVID-19. The study aimed to determine if early administration could prevent disease progression, specifically looking at outcomes such as intubation or the initiation of systemic corticosteroids.
