This regimen is designed for children with mild to moderate cow's milk or hen's egg allergies. The process involves the oral administration of gradually increasing doses of natural food proteins (cow's milk or hen's egg) over an extended induction phase, with dose escalations typically occurring every two weeks. This conventional approach contrasts with rush protocols that escalate doses more rapidly.
