**Copanlisib + paclitaxel** is an investigational intravenous anticancer co-administration regimen comprising copanlisib, a predominantly PI3K-alpha and PI3K-delta inhibitor, and paclitaxel, a taxane microtubule stabilizer. Copanlisib suppresses class I PI3K signaling and downstream AKT-pathway activation, while paclitaxel binds beta-tubulin to stabilize microtubules, disrupt mitosis, and promote tumor-cell death. Bayer evaluated the regimen in a completed Phase 1 study in patients with advanced solid malignancies, including planned breast-cancer expansion cohorts; preclinical studies also reported sustained antitumor responses in patient-derived non-small cell lung cancer xenografts.
