CpG oligonucleotide + anti-PD-1 antibody is an investigational combination immunotherapy being developed by Huapu Biotechnology for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapy consists of a proprietary CpG oligodeoxynucleotide, which acts as a Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) agonist, and an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody. The CpG component (likely utilizing Huapu's HP007 technology) is designed to activate the innate immune system, particularly dendritic cells, and promote a Th1-type immune response. This is combined with an anti-PD-1 antibody that functions as a checkpoint inhibitor to block the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, thereby relieving T-cell inhibition and preventing exhaustion. By simultaneously stimulating innate immunity and removing brakes on adaptive immunity, the combination aims to synergistically enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
