Overview

The combination of crizotinib and dasatinib is an investigational drug combination that has been studied in clinical trials for various cancer types. This combination targets multiple signaling pathways involved in cancer progression. It is a combination of crizotinib (a MET inhibitor) and dasatinib (a c-SRC inhibitor) investigated for the treatment of advanced cancers. Preclinical studies demonstrated cross-talk between MET and c-SRC molecules, suggesting potential synergistic effects. However, clinical trials showed limited tolerability due to high rates of adverse events and modest efficacy.
