Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CS2009 + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy consisting of CS2009, a novel trispecific antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA), and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4), and docetaxel, a well-established microtubule-stabilizing taxane chemotherapy. Developed by CStone Pharmaceuticals, CS2009 is designed to simultaneously block immune checkpoints (PD-1 and CTLA-4) and inhibit tumor angiogenesis (VEGFA), thereby remodeling the tumor microenvironment and enhancing T-cell activation and infiltration. Docetaxel acts synergistically by inducing mitotic arrest and immunogenic cell death, which further primes the immune system. This combination is primarily being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in patients who have previously progressed on platinum-based chemotherapy and anti-PD-(L)1 immunotherapy.
