CTA311 + CTA313

CTA311 and CTA313 are investigational allogeneic CAR-T cell therapies developed by Nanjing Bioheng Biotech (Bioheng Therapeutics) for the treatment of severe autoimmune diseases. CTA311 is an allogeneic CAR-T product targeting CD19, while CTA313 is a dual-targeting allogeneic CAR-T product directed against both CD19 and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA). These therapies are engineered using the company's proprietary ANSWER® platform, which incorporates specific genetic modifications to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and host-versus-graft (HvG) rejection, allowing for "off-the-shelf" use without the need for patient-specific manufacturing. By targeting CD19 (found on B cells) and BCMA (found on plasma cells), the combination therapy aims to achieve a deep depletion of the B-cell lineage and long-lived plasma cells responsible for producing pathogenic autoantibodies. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for multiple indications, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic sclerosis (SSc), ANCA-associated vasculitis (AAV), idiopathic inflammatory myopathy (IIM), and Sjögren's syndrome (pSS).
