Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CTH522 + aluminum hydroxide is a vaccine candidate for the prevention of Chlamydia trachomatis infections. It consists of CTH522, a recombinant chimeric protein containing portions of the C. trachomatis major outer membrane protein (MOMP), adjuvanted with aluminum hydroxide. The CTH522 component combines a partial sequence of MOMP from serovar D with external domains from serovars E, F, and G, representing the most prevalent Chlamydia serovars.
