A combination therapy composed of **CTS-1027**, a selective small-molecule inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), **pegylated interferon** (a modified form of interferon alfa with improved pharmacokinetics), and **ribavirin**, a nucleoside analogue antiviral.
