Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Invocumin Plus is an intravenous combination therapy developed by TherDose Pharma, primarily utilized as a supportive or adjuvant treatment in oncology. It consists of curcumin, a bioactive polyphenol extracted from *Curcuma longa*, and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). Curcumin is known for its multi-targeted anti-inflammatory and potential anti-neoplastic properties, primarily acting through the inhibition of the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway, which downregulates pro-inflammatory cytokines and genes involved in tumor cell survival. Ascorbic acid is included for its antioxidant properties and its potential to exert pro-oxidant effects at high concentrations, which may selectively induce oxidative stress in malignant cells. The product is typically supplied as a 100ml solution for infusion.
