**CV301 + atezolizumab** is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for advanced urothelial carcinoma and other solid tumors. CV301 is a recombinant, non-replicative poxvirus-based cancer vaccine using Modified Vaccinia Ankara (MVA-BN-CV301, for priming) and Fowlpox (FPV-CV301, for boosting). The vaccine encodes tumor-associated antigens carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), mucin-1 (MUC-1), and co-stimulatory molecules (TRICOM: ICAM-1, LFA-3, B7-1) to trigger strong, antigen-specific T-cell responses and promote anti-tumor immunity. Atezolizumab is a monoclonal antibody targeting PD-L1, a checkpoint inhibitor that blocks immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment. The aim of the combination is to leverage CV301-induced tumor-targeting T cells and checkpoint blockade for enhanced anti-tumor activity.
