The Second phase of induction is a specific multi-agent chemotherapy regimen utilized in the ALL-MB 2015 (Moscow-Berlin 2015) clinical trial protocol for the treatment of pediatric and young adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Developed by the Federal Research Institute of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology, this phase follows the initial induction and consists of systemic administration of cyclophosphamide, cytarabine, and 6-mercaptopurine, supplemented by triple intrathecal therapy (TIT) containing methotrexate, cytarabine, and prednisone. The regimen aims to consolidate the initial remission and target central nervous system involvement through a combination of alkylating agents, antimetabolites, and corticosteroids.
