Overview

This combination is used for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. **Cyclophosphamide** is a chemotherapy drug that works by interfering with DNA replication. **Docetaxel** is another chemotherapy agent that disrupts microtubule function, preventing cell division. **Pertuzumab** and **trastuzumab** are monoclonal antibodies targeting the HER2 protein, which is overexpressed in some breast cancers. They work by binding to different parts of the HER2 protein, preventing its dimerization and signaling, thus inhibiting cancer cell growth.
