Overview
A combination therapy consisting of two conventional chemotherapy agents (cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin) with an antibody-drug conjugate (glembatumumab vedotin). Glembatumumab vedotin is composed of a fully human IgG2 monoclonal antibody against glycoprotein nonmetastatic gene B (GPNMB) conjugated via a valine-citrulline linker to the microtubule inhibitor monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE). This combination may have been investigated for the treatment of breast cancer, particularly triple-negative breast cancer.
