CEEP is a combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide, epirubicin, vindesine, and prednisone. It was developed by the French Innovative Leukemia Organisation (FILO) as an induction therapy for patients with untreated high-risk (aa-IPI=3) aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). The regimen is typically used as a first-line step before consolidation with high-dose therapy (such as the BEAM regimen) and autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation. Its components provide a multi-targeted cytotoxic approach: cyclophosphamide acts as a DNA alkylating agent, epirubicin is an anthracycline that inhibits topoisomerase II, vindesine is a vinca alkaloid that disrupts microtubule formation, and prednisone is a corticosteroid with lympholytic properties.
