Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination therapy consisting of four components: cyclophosphamide (an alkylating agent), ipilimumab (a CTLA-4 inhibitor), nivolumab (a PD-1 inhibitor), and pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (an anthracycline chemotherapy agent). The pegylated liposomal doxorubicin component is enclosed in pegylated liposomes, which slows down removal of the medicine, allowing it to circulate in the blood for longer and reduces effects on healthy tissues and cells, making it less likely to cause certain side effects compared to standard doxorubicin.
