Cyclosporin A + diquafosol tetrasodium is a topical ophthalmic combination therapy used for the treatment of dry eye disease. Cyclosporin A is an immunosuppressant that increases tear production by inhibiting T-cell activation and reducing ocular surface inflammation. Diquafosol tetrasodium is a purinergic P2Y2 receptor agonist that stimulates secretion of water and mucins from conjunctival epithelial cells, enhancing tear film stability.
