Overview

A combination of cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant that works as a calcineurin inhibitor, and enalapril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. This combination is used in renal transplant recipients to manage hypertension while providing immunosuppression. Clinical studies have shown that this combination provides better blood pressure control than either drug alone and may prevent the enalapril-induced initial rise in serum creatinine.
