CYT107 is a fully glycosylated, recombinant form of human interleukin 7, a cytokine essential for T-cell development and survival. It is produced in CHO cells and acts as an immunotherapeutic agent by promoting T-cell recovery and enhancing immune function, particularly in conditions associated with lymphopenia such as after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation or severe viral infections like COVID-19. Entecavir is a guanosine nucleoside analogue antiviral that selectively inhibits hepatitis B virus polymerase, blocking all three steps of the viral replication process. Tenofovir is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor used primarily for hepatitis B and HIV infection. The combination of CYT107 with either entecavir or tenofovir may be explored to enhance immune reconstitution while suppressing viral replication in diseases such as chronic hepatitis B or other settings where both antiviral therapy and immune restoration are needed[1][2][4][6][8].
