Overview

CYTO-102 Combination is an investigational immunotherapy regimen consisting of **CYTO-102** (also known as CYTO NK-102) and the PD-L1 inhibitor **atezolizumab** (Tecentriq). CYTO-102 is an allogeneic, tumor-reactive natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed using the TRACK-NK™ platform. These NK cells are genetically modified to express PD-L1 and secrete soluble IL-15. The combination therapy leverages a dual mechanism of action: the direct cytotoxic activity of the engineered NK cells against tumor cells, enhanced by autocrine/paracrine IL-15 stimulation, and the checkpoint blockade provided by atezolizumab. The expression of PD-L1 on the NK cells is designed to facilitate co-stimulation in the presence of the anti-PD-L1 antibody. This combination is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
