Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DA-010 + DA-005 is an oral combination therapy developed by Applied Biology, Inc. for the treatment of hair loss conditions, including telogen effluvium, female pattern hair loss, and androgenic alopecia. The combination consists of DA-010, which is oral phenylephrine (20 mg), and DA-005, an oral supplement that acts as a Hypoxia-Inducible Factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) modulator. Phenylephrine is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist that may influence the follicular environment, while DA-005 is intended to provide metabolic support to hair follicles. This combination was evaluated as an experimental arm in a Phase 2/3 clinical trial (NCT04802343) to assess its safety and efficacy in reducing hair shedding and promoting hair regrowth.
