Overview

A combination therapy consisting of dabigatran (an oral direct thrombin inhibitor), ticagrelor (a P2Y12 receptor antagonist), and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin). This triple antithrombotic regimen may be used in patients with atrial fibrillation who undergo percutaneous coronary intervention or have acute coronary syndrome. Clinical evidence suggests this combination significantly increases bleeding risk compared to dual therapy alternatives.
