Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Dan'ge Fentong Capsule** is an oral investigational traditional Chinese medicine capsule developed by Sichuan Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences for diabetic peripheral neuropathy in patients with the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome classification of yin deficiency with blood stasis. It is a multi-component botanical preparation derived from the Danshen and Gegen medicinal-herb pair; published analytical work has identified Danshen phenolic-acid and tanshinone constituents and Gegen isoflavonoid constituents. Its precise clinical mechanism and molecular targets have not been established in public trial records. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 study is registered in China for diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
