Dapagliflozin + lobeglitazone is a combination therapy used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This combination brings together two distinct mechanisms of action to improve glycemic control. Dapagliflozin is a sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT-2) inhibitor that works by increasing urinary glucose excretion, while lobeglitazone is a thiazolidinedione (TZD) that improves insulin sensitivity. Clinical studies have shown that this combination therapy results in significant reductions in HbA1c levels, body weight, visceral fat area, and blood pressure in patients with inadequately controlled T2DM.
