Overview
daplusiran + tomligisiran + bepirovirsen is an investigational sequential combination regimen for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B. This approach uses the fixed combination of the small interfering RNAs (siRNAs) daplusiran and tomligisiran (formerly JNJ-3989, GSK5637608), followed by treatment with bepirovirsen, an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO). The goal of the regimen is to reduce hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) levels via siRNA-mediated knockdown, followed by immune stimulation and viral RNA degradation with bepirovirsen to induce a functional cure. All three drugs act on hepatitis B virus through gene silencing or RNA destruction targeting viral persistence[1][2][4][6][7][9].
