darexaban + digoxin

**darexaban + digoxin** is a combination of two pharmaceuticals: darexaban, an oral direct Factor Xa inhibitor (anticoagulant), and digoxin, a cardiac glycoside most commonly used for the management of heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Darexaban acts by selective inhibition of Factor Xa, interrupting the coagulation cascade and thus preventing thrombosis. Digoxin increases cardiac contractility and inhibits atrioventricular conduction through inhibition of Na+/K+-ATPase and enhancement of vagal tone. Co-administration in studies primarily evaluated pharmacokinetic interaction, with evidence showing no clinically significant pharmacokinetic interaction between darexaban (in modified-release form) and digoxin in healthy subjects[1].
