Overview
**darinaparsin + CHOP** is a combination regimen under investigation for the treatment of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) and potentially other lymphomas. This regimen combines **darinaparsin** (also known as Zinapar, an organic arsenical and mitochondrial-targeted cytotoxic agent) with the established CHOP chemotherapy protocol, which consists of cyclophosphamide (alkylating agent), doxorubicin (anthracycline), vincristine (mitotic inhibitor), and prednisone (corticosteroid). Darinaparsin disrupts mitochondrial function, inducing apoptosis primarily in malignant cells, and is being studied to enhance the efficacy of the CHOP combination. CHOP is a standard of care for aggressive lymphomas such as PTCL and non-Hodgkin lymphoma[1][2][3].
