Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a **combination drug** that includes datopotamab deruxtecan, prednisone, and prednisolone. - **Datopotamab deruxtecan** is a Trop-2-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that consists of a humanized anti-Trop-2 IgG1 monoclonal antibody linked via a cleavable tetrapeptide linker to a DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor payload (deruxtecan/DXd). It selectively binds Trop-2 on tumor cells, is internalized, and delivers the cytotoxic DXd payload, leading to targeted DNA damage and tumor cell death, including induction of immunogenic cell death[1][2][4][5][6]. - **Prednisone** and **prednisolone** are synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroids that act primarily as anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive agents. They bind to the glucocorticoid receptor and modulate gene expression to reduce inflammation and suppress immune response. This combination would be considered investigational, as there is no evidence of FDA-approved or standard combination therapy comprising all three agents together for any one indication.
