Overview

TQB3602 + AK105 is a combination therapy consisting of davelizomib (TQB3602), an oral small-molecule proteasome inhibitor, and penpulimab (AK105), a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. Developed by Chia Tai Tianqing (a subsidiary of Sino Biopharm) and Akeso Biopharma, this regimen is being evaluated for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors. Proteasome inhibition by davelizomib is intended to induce apoptosis in cancer cells and potentially enhance the immune response, while penpulimab acts as a checkpoint inhibitor to restore T-cell mediated anti-tumor activity. The combination is currently in Phase I clinical development.
