Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DB-1311 + DB-1305 is a combination of two investigational antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors. DB-1311 is an anti-B7-H3 ADC that utilizes P1021, a topoisomerase I inhibitor, as its cytotoxic payload and targets the B7-H3 protein, which is overexpressed in several cancers and associated with poor prognosis. By targeting B7-H3, DB-1311 aims to deliver the cytotoxic payload specifically to tumor cells[4][6]. DB-1305 is an anti-TROP2 ADC, likely using a similar topoisomerase payload, with the purpose of targeting the TROP2 antigen that is highly expressed in many epithelial tumors[7]. Both drugs are being developed by DualityBio in collaboration with BioNTech, and this combination is currently being tested in clinical trials for patients with difficult-to-treat solid tumors, such as hepatocellular carcinoma, cervical cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer[1][2][3][5].
