Depigmented modified mite allergen extract (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus + Lepidoglyphus destructor), also identified as DP/MG/14-2, is a subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy (SCIT) product developed by Laboratorios LETI. It is a biologic allergoid consisting of glutaraldehyde-polymerized, depigmented allergen extracts derived from two house dust mite species: the pyroglyphid *Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus* and the glycyphagid *Lepidoglyphus destructor*. The depigmentation and polymerization processes are designed to reduce allergenicity (IgE binding) while maintaining immunogenicity, thereby improving safety during the build-up phase. The drug targets the IgE-mediated allergic immune response to house dust mite allergens and is intended to induce long-term allergen tolerance. It was evaluated in a multicenter, open-label Phase IIb clinical trial (NCT02340130) for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and controlled allergic asthma in adults sensitized to these mite species.
