Depigoid + grasses pollen + olea europaea pollen is a combination immunotherapy product that contains depigmented polymerized extracts of grass pollen and olive tree (olea europaea) pollen. It is used for allergen-specific immunotherapy (subcutaneous immunotherapy, SCIT) in the treatment of allergic rhinitis, rhinoconjunctivitis, and/or allergic asthma caused by sensitization to grass and olive pollen. The depigmentation and polymerization processes reduce IgE binding while maintaining T-cell reactivity, improving tolerability and reducing the risk of systemic allergic reactions compared to native extracts[3][7]. The mechanism of action is immunomodulation—repeated exposure to small quantities of allergens re-trains the immune system to reduce allergic responses over time[2][3][7]. Developed primarily for moderate-to-severe pollen-induced conditions, especially in regions with high grass and olive tree pollen exposure.
