Overview

Dermasorb HC + Dermasorb TA is a topical combination regimen consisting of two medium-to-low potency corticosteroid products, hydrocortisone (Dermasorb HC) and triamcinolone acetonide (Dermasorb TA), supplied in emollient or cleanser-based vehicles for dermatologic use. Hydrocortisone and triamcinolone are synthetic glucocorticoid corticosteroids that bind to the cytosolic glucocorticoid receptor in skin cells, modulating gene transcription to suppress production of pro‑inflammatory cytokines, reduce vasodilation and capillary permeability, and inhibit local immune and allergic responses, thereby decreasing erythema, edema, pruritus, and irritation in inflammatory dermatoses. The combination may be used to tailor anti‑inflammatory potency and vehicle type across different body areas or disease severity, for conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, allergic rashes, and other corticosteroid‑responsive skin disorders.[2][5][8]
