Overview

This is an investigational combination sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) developed by Stanford University for the treatment of allergies. It is composed of allergen extracts from house dust mite (*Dermatophagoides farinae*) and Timothy grass (*Phleum pratense*). By administering the allergens under the tongue, the therapy is designed to induce immune tolerance and reduce the symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, and asthma. [2] A Phase 1 clinical trial has been conducted to evaluate the safety and tolerability of this combination therapy in both children and adults. [2]
