Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus + Blomia tropicalis depigmented modified allergen extract is a subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy (SCIT) product developed by Laboratorios LETI S.L.U. under the Depigoid brand. It consists of a mixture of allergen extracts from two house dust mite species, *Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus* and *Blomia tropicalis*, which have undergone depigmentation and polymerization (modification) to form allergoids. This chemical modification is designed to reduce the allergen's IgE-binding capacity, thereby improving safety and allowing for a rush build-up dosing schedule, while preserving its ability to induce a protective T-cell mediated immune response. The product is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, rhinoconjunctivitis, and controlled allergic asthma in patients sensitized to these mites, aiming to induce long-term immunological tolerance.
