Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of the gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist (GnRHa) deslorelin with add-back hormones estradiol, medroxyprogesterone acetate, and testosterone. This combination has been studied for the treatment of endometriosis-related pelvic pain. The GnRHa component (deslorelin) suppresses ovarian production of hormones, while the add-back hormones help minimize hypoestrogenic side effects such as bone mineral density loss and hot flashes that would typically occur with GnRHa therapy alone.
