Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DF1001 + nab-paclitaxel is an investigational combination therapy for solid tumors, especially those expressing human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). **DF1001** is a first-in-class immune engager developed via Dragonfly’s TriNKET platform. It targets HER2 and stimulates co-activating NK cell receptors (notably NKG2D and CD16), inducing tumor infiltration and activation of NK cells, γδ T cells, and CD8+ T cells, driving anti-tumor immunity. **Nab-paclitaxel** is an albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, acting as an antimicrotubule chemotherapeutic that stabilizes microtubules and disrupts mitosis, leading to cancer cell death. The combination is being studied intravenously in phase 1/2 trials for HER2-positive advanced solid tumors[1][3][5][7][9].
