**DHP1401 + donepezil** is a combination therapy investigated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease. DHP1401 is a small molecule drug isolated from the seeds of Zizyphus jujuba var. spinosa, with neuroprotective and memory-enhancing effects demonstrated in preclinical models. Clinical trials have assessed the safety and efficacy of DHP1401 administered together with donepezil in patients with Alzheimer's disease, showing improved secondary cognitive endpoints (MMSE, K-TMT-e type B) and some benefit in select subgroups, though primary efficacy endpoints did not reach significance. No significant drug-drug interactions were observed, and the combination was generally well tolerated for up to 24 weeks[1][3][4][6].
