Overview

DIA-615 is a proprietary, small molecule topical formulation being developed by Ardia Therapeutics, a subsidiary of Aardvark Therapeutics, for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis. The compound modulates cellular stress pathways by specifically reducing endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in keratinocytes and inflammatory cells. Its mechanism of action involves the induction of specific members of the TAS2R (Taste receptor type 2) G protein-coupled receptor family, which leads to the downregulation of stressed ER pathways. By mitigating ER stress, DIA-615 supports keratinocyte differentiation and the restoration of skin barrier function. The drug is designed for localized, non-systemic delivery to target the inflammatory cells responsible for skin lesions while minimizing systemic exposure.
