diazepam + indomethacin

Diazepam + indomethacin is a combination of two pharmaceutical agents used together, particularly for the management of night pain and morning stiffness in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis. Diazepam is a long-acting benzodiazepine that acts as an anxiolytic, muscle relaxant, and sedative by enhancing the effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) at the GABA-A receptor in the central nervous system. Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts its effects primarily through inhibition of cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins involved in inflammation, pain, and fever.
