**Dibotermin alfa + Mastergraft** is a combination product used in orthopedic surgery to promote bone formation and healing. Dibotermin alfa is a recombinant human Bone Morphogenetic Protein-2 (rhBMP-2), a potent osteoinductive agent that stimulates mesenchymal stem cells to differentiate into bone-forming cells. Mastergraft consists of a family of synthetic bone graft substitutes, primarily composed of hydroxyapatite and tricalcium phosphate, which serve as a biocompatible osteoconductive scaffold facilitating new bone growth. This combination is used to enhance bone regeneration in spinal fusion, long bone fractures, and dental/maxillofacial surgery.
