Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dolaren Crema is a topical anti-inflammatory and analgesic combination therapy developed by Carnot Laboratorios. It is a fixed-dose combination product containing the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) **diclofenac**, along with **glucosamine** and **chondroitin sulfate**. Diclofenac provides rapid pain relief and reduces inflammation by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby blocking the synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins. Glucosamine and chondroitin are structural components of the cartilage matrix and are included to support joint health and provide symptomatic relief in degenerative joint conditions. The cream is primarily indicated for the localized treatment of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders. It is approved and marketed in various Latin American regions, including Mexico.
