A topical medication combining diflucortolone valerate (0.1%), a potent fluorinated corticosteroid, with isoconazole nitrate (1%), a broad-spectrum antimycotic azole. This combination is used for treating superficial fungal infections of the skin accompanied by inflammatory or eczematous conditions. Diflucortolone valerate provides anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects, while isoconazole nitrate offers antimycotic activity against dermatophytes, yeasts, yeast-like fungi, molds, and gram-positive bacteria.
